Jason Driver also offers private lessons in his SE Portland, Oregon studio for guitar, bass, music theory, and recording techniques.  Jason has 22 years of experience in music and the music business.  He has been teaching for 10 years and has had the opportunity to work with adults, children, celebrities, beginners and professionals to take their music and recording to the next level.  Please inquire about in-studio lessons.  Rates for lessons are $40 per hour and $25 per half hour.

What can you expect?

Your lessons will be custom tailored for you, and will be a collaboration between student and teacher.  You will only be taught what you want to learn and never will be forced or told that you need to practice any one particular musical piece.  Music is a personal relationship and is different for everyone.  Lessons are based on the philosphy of teaching the student how to learn and self-teach.  The only way to get better is to play...a lot...so we will find what it will take to get you to enjoy practice and make the most out of the time you spend with your music.
