Driver Recording owner/engineer/producer, Jason Driver, has been involved in the music business for 17 years. His music career began while attending classes at University of Arkansas in 1989. He worked as an audio engineer at U of A audio department, in local clubs and on the road with local band "Punkinhead." After four years of engineering Jason moved to the stage where he picked up the bass and spent the next several years playing as a writing partner/band member or as a hired bassist both in studio and live.
Jason moved to Los Angeles in 1999 and is now earning a living solely in music by teaching private guitar and bass lessons in the L.A. area as well as playing bass with a variety of bands and songwriters in the local scene. He has also been recording and producing at his home since 2001 using digital recording. He has had the opportunity to work with celebrities as a private music instructor and has played bass on Los Angeles stages such as 'The Roxy' 'The Viper Room' 'The Gig' etc. and has produced and recorded music for solo artists as well as his own bands. Jason recently built a 300 sq ft sound-proof recording studio at his home. With great ears, a passion for and knowledge of music, a great variety of experience, and the powerful recording technology of today, Driver Recording is here to record your next demo or full-length CD.
